SKA Hydra slat washers are made from stainless steel and have a conveyor track with speed control to move slats through a central washing chamber where four high pressure 'fan' nozzles, two on either side, oscillate to direct spray to all areas of the slats quickly and efficiently.
The machine are easily manouverable, and designed to be suitable for one person to operate at a rate of up to 100 per hour, or even more with two people, using a pressure washer with a capacity of at least 15 litres per minute at 150 bar or approximately 2100 psi. or 37 litres per minute at 120 bar or approximately 1750 psi in the case of the 'Turbo Nozzle' version.
There are two models for the large majority of popular types of polypropylene slats, and two other machines for more specialized requirements.
In all cases soaking dirty slats before putting them through the Hydra washer improves the efficiency and speed of the cleaning process.
